We are looking for a live sound engineer for our band based near Plymouth, Devon. The Sound Criminals are an original band. We write, record and perform our own songs, and a few covers. Our influences and style are very diverse and include rock, blues, punk, ska, and dub just for starters!
We have our own out of town rehearsal and recording studio, PA, van, web site etc. We have been going for just over a year and have performed a number of gigs locally so far. We already have a good fan base which grows every time we play. We have a full gig set ready to go, and are in the process of booking new dates.
We are looking for an experienced live sound engineer to join us especially for larger gigs. We have a 16 channel Yamaha MG166C desk, 1k FOH amp & Community mid range speakers, 800w active monitors, SM58's, SM57, D112, 2 x NT5A, amp line outs (not DI), midi verb. Our rig is quite basic at the moment, so an engineer with own gear would be ideal, but is not a requirement. You should however, ideally have own transport or a full driving license, good musical awareness, timing, imagination and live sound knowledge and experience. |
